Founded in 2017, Between Friends Publishing believes that books have the power to change lives and strengthen communities.
Best friends Jaimie and Victoria first opened Between Friends Coffee in Warner Robins, Georgia: a cozy, literary-themed café where readers, writers, and dreamers gathered. They quickly learned that many aspiring authors either didn’t know how to navigate publishing or were being exploited by costly, low-quality companies. They believed everyone deserved affordable, straightforward publishing services and support. That vision grew into Between Friends Publishing which now serves authors across the U.S. and beyond, offering personalized guidance and services with a mission to make literacy—and stories from around the world—within everyone’s reach.
Between Friends Publishing is committed to advancing adult literacy and fostering a love of books throughout Georgia. In partnership with the City of Warner Robins, they host the annual Middle Georgia Lit Fest—a free, family-friendly celebration of words, creativity, and community. This inclusive event brings together authors, poets, illustrators, educators, and literary professionals from all walks of life to inspire readers and writers of all ages. Beyond the festival, Between Friends Publishing rescues and redistributes books to state and county prisons to keep their libraries stocked. They also support a variety of community literacy initiatives across the state. Through these efforts, they work to ensure that stories, education, and the joy of reading remain accessible to everyone.
